| I used a thin cut
off blade in my trusty DeWalt angle grinder (had that thing for goin' on
10 years) to cut just the welds (well, as close as I could get to just the
welds). Then I hit them with my crappy air chisel. There were a few spots
where I cut into the crossmember, so I just welded those up. Then I cleaned
everything up (grinder again) and painted it. I'll be grinding/welding on
it again, but it was easy enough to put some paint on it now and prevent
surface rust. |
